A COLLECTION OF PREMIER
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS FIRMS
01 ABOUT US
We are a collection of inter-related companies that provide employee benefits, executive benefits, and wealth management services to closely held businesses.
Though our core focus has always been on serving our clients with superior and uber-sophisticated insurance solutions, we also provide services to our peers in the insurance industry, assisting them in delivering unique experiences and solutions to their clients as well.
In this regard, we have few competitors, but many partners.
Our fundamental belief is that there are more than enough opportunities to spread around, and that if we remain passionate about serving as many clients as we can -- whether it be directly or indirectly -- that our mission of providing unique and superior solutions will prevail.

Founded by Darren Sugiyama in 2003, Apex grew to over $37 million in annual sales within its 7th year, becoming the #1 producing benefits firm in the country for BenefitMall, Kaiser Permanente, HealthNet, and Colonial Life.
DaVinci Capital Investment Advisors specializes in advising employees on retirement planning and alternative investment strategies. Often times, small businesses don't offer retirement programs to their employees.

In addition, Lionsmark also funds key-employee deferred compensation arrangements for closely held businesses utilizing our proprietary lending platforms, employing leverage in multi-life cases.
We have gained the reputation as the most sophisticated and technically-sound premium financing intermediary in the country, endorsed by all of the major carriers, producer groups and BGAs in the life insurance industry.
We are often brought in as the specialist by RIA firms, top-producing life insurance agents, and carriers to work with their uber-high net worth life insurance clients.
BreadBox Solutions is a software company that generates analytical data reports to top tier life insurance agents and investment advisors to assist in educating their clients on how various design elements may affect financial outcomes during different economic conditions.
Such reports create Hypothetical Synthetic Assets that act as a proxy for extremely sophisticated investment strategies and indexed universal life insurance products, depicting how floors, caps, multipliers, high-cap options, and asset-based charges perform during times of volatility and different sequences of returns.
Ultimately, we provide tools and services to advisors to help them better educate their clients.
